  • Received 2 patents and have 3 still pending as a result of the integration work at SAP

  • Reduced time-to-resolution time for SAP and Adobe customer issues as a result of patentable  work.

  • Enabled customers to successfully implement server side PFD/A conversion processes by developing an example process and white paper

  • Solved customer satisfaction and efficiency issues by analyzing PDF/A requirements and processes being used and recommending appropriate alternatives.

  • Enabled JetForm (later Accelio) to increase market share and revenue while reducing customer implementation costs by architecting and managing their ERP forms output solution products which were their greatest revenue generators leading up to Y2K.

  • Received numerous awards for customer advocacy while leading the technical work at Jeform/Accelio

  • Enabled ITI to achieve more than 40% market share by selecting the IBM PC platform for product development. We were the first software company in Ottawa to start with that platform.

  • Positioned ITI as a market leader of easy to use products by incorporating AI concepts into them.

  • Assisted Industry Canada to reach new investors in Canada by developing a software based tool for accessing a rich database of Canadiana (before the days of the Internet).

  • Designed and implemented a multi-tasking framework for MS-DOS for use in Simware’s 3270 emulator on MS-DOS.

  • Facilitated sales of the IBM/BNR CBDS system to many electronics manufacturers by implementing and supporting the core extensible graphics framework used in the product.

  • Allowed BNR to eliminated mini-computer CAD systems valued and more than $250K each by using IBM PCs and vector graphic work stations in an innovative way to support digitizing and editing large IC drawings.

  • Enabled MDSI to enter the CAD marketplace by negotiating the purchase of the graphics technology from System Approach and then helping them port it to a new platform.

  • Enabled the creditors of Systems Approach to received better value for their investment by developing the only technology in the company portfolio that was saleable.

  • Enabled Systems Approach to enter the CAD marketplace and have its biggest sales year ever by negotiating the transfer of the GRAPPLE technology from BNR.

  • Received Canadian Computer Show award for a research paper entitled “Introduction to a High Level Computer Graphics Machine”

  • Enabled Comshare to increase customer satisfaction by reducing compile time for COBOL by 60%
